At age 23, Bailey Fulginiti’s soulful, vocal expressions belie her years.  She swings elegantly through jazz standards, slides across sultry blues lines, keeps funk in the pocket, and takes personally the heartbreak of today’s modern singer/songwriters.  As a classically trained soprano, her rare combination of coloratura range and lyric depth are a perfect marriage.  The result is a wide spectrum of sound, rich with emotional power, no matter what the musical style or genre.

A native of Lititz, Pennsylvania, Bailey’s range of inspirations include Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Joni Mitchell, Norah Jones, Adele, Morgan James, Lake Street Dive, Tower of Power, Diana Damrau, Renee Fleming, Kiri Te Kanawa and many others.  An accomplished performer in her early years, Bailey started sitting in on her father’s local jazz/r&b gigs at a young age, and began leading her own trio during her freshman year of college.  A graduate of Muhlenberg College, Bailey balances her job as an Assistant Director of Admissions at Muhlenberg College with a steady schedule of jazz/soul dates with her trio.  On the classical side, Bailey has portrayed Mother in Hansel & Gretel, Fiordiligi, in Cosi fan tutte, Alice Ford in Falstaff,  and has earned participation in numerous honors recitals and ensembles around the country.  Bailey has studied voice with Christa Warda (Allentown, Pa), Gwenne Geyer (Lancaster, Pa) and Paulette Herbich (Vienna, Austria).  She resides in King of Prussia with her boyfriend and puppy, Giselle.
